Our Platform

SubHub is a membership platform that allows an individual or organisation to create a website and charge money to access content. The SubHub platform is also designed to make sure content creators are able to do this without any technical knowledge (other than being able to use a web browser!).

To achieve this, SubHub combines the power, flexibility and scalability of Drupal 7 with a store for Drupal Apps baked right in. This awesome combination gives users the tools to create and sell great content plus the power to modify and extend their site's features by installing an App in just a few clicks. Apps are the perfect way to provide end users with complete solutions to small well focused problems in a way that is simple and intuitive - e.g. plugging in analytics from your preferred vendor or integrating a Facebook comments stream on certain articles.

With our App store, all the heavy lifting is hidden away leaving the Apps to focus on solving discrete problems and at the same time providing a great experience for the end users. We also think Apps are a great way for module developers to create revenue streams out of commercial problems that can be solved with their modules - yep, we know this is a contentious issue right now so we'd love to hear what you think, so if you're at DrupalCon come visit us on table #13.
We've opened up our Apps platform to allow submissions from all developers, so if you think you've got a killer App drop us a line, we'd love to work with you!
